Not everything has to suck. What if this was fun?

I took a strengths finder personality test last week. It was illuminating. I scored 1/100 for ambition and 97/100 for leisurely. This doesn’t mean I’m not ambitious, or that I want to lie around all day and be fed bonbons.

But it does mean the games people play at work around ambition (posturing, political manoeuvring, sucking up) actively put me off. And that I don’t like being told what to do.

I did already know this about myself but when it comes back in a stark scoring system I pay attenion.

So messages like Paul Millerd’s No, Not Everything Has to Suck will really resonate with me.

Maybe there is another way.
